Carly's dance warm ups

Carly is on a member of a competitive ballet team at Utah Dance Artists. She came home from dance wearing her new warm ups.

I think she looks adorable!

Tomatoes

I love tomatoes!

This year we have been more successful at growing tomatoes in our garden than ever before. I picked these tomatoes today for lunch.

Three of my kids like eating tomatoes. James can't get enough!

He especially likes the cherry tomatoes.

Homecoming 2011

Hayden was asked to Homecoming at West Jordan High.

She thought she would mess up his room before she popped the question.

Hayden does not like cleaning his room. Watch out Erica, he will get you back! (For the record, he did get her back minus the buttered popcorn.)

Here is Hayden before he left to meet his date. I think he looks nice but he hates pictures. We couldn't get him to smile.

Nick's bird feeder

Squint your eyes and you can see the bird feeder Nicholas made during Scouts.

It has been visited by many birds.

We were able to catch a picture of one of them!

Pinewood Derby

Nick built this Dukes of Hazard pinewood derby car with the help of his dad.

Here they are lining the cars up for the race.

They held several races.

The boys would wait at the finish line to see what place they would finish.

Most of the time Nick's car did great! Here he is in first place!

This is another first place win for Nick's car.

Nick's car was awarded the "Most Wanted Car"

He had a great time building and racing his pinewood derby car.

Back-to-School 2011

School started on August 29, 2011. Hayden is a junior at Copper Hills High School. (He refused to have his picture taken with his backpack. He wouldn't let me walk him to school either). Carly is in the sixth grade. Nicholas is in the third grade. Good Luck! I am so proud of all of you and know you will have another great year!

Nicholas chose to wear Utah red for the first day of school. I hope his teacher is a Ute fan so he doesn't meet a rival on his first day.Carly chose this outfit following a fashion show for her brothers.

Nicholas is headed off on his bicycle for Mrs. Roach's class.
